Terms of Use

The conditions under which this website and its content are made available.

Last updated · 19 July 2026

By accessing this website you agree to the terms set out below. The Commuter's Briefing is an independent publishing imprint.

The content

The editorial copy, branding, cover designs and typography on this site are the property of The Commuter's Briefing and may not be reproduced without permission. The works of James Allen are published with the author's consent; our editions, edits and presentations of them are not.

Purchases — Kindle briefings

Briefings are sold and delivered through Amazon under Amazon's terms and conditions. The imprint is not responsible for the transaction, delivery, refund or device-compatibility aspects of a Kindle purchase, which are governed by Amazon's policies.

The Workday Reset

The Workday Reset is a structured self-reflection product. It is a digital personalised report, sold as a one-off purchase for £2.99 and delivered immediately after payment through this website.

It is not a psychometric assessment, not medical advice, not a mental-health diagnosis, not employment advice, and not a professional performance appraisal. It is a tool for personal reflection on the shape of your working week.

Because the report is digital and supplied immediately on payment, you acknowledge that the content is provided straight away. If a technical failure prevents your report from generating, or you are charged in error, contact editor@thecommutersbriefing.com and we will either provide the content or issue a refund. We do not use "all sales final" language: where fulfilment has not happened, we will put it right.

The Arrival Briefing

The Arrival Briefing is entertainment and conversational guidance. It is not professional HR advice, not legal advice, not therapy, and not a substitute for a serious conversation. It does not guarantee how another person will respond.

It is sold as a one-off digital product for £0.99 and delivered immediately after payment. If a technical failure prevents your briefing from generating, or you are charged in error, contact editor@thecommutersbriefing.com and we will put it right. Under UK rules, digital content supplied immediately is generally not cancellable once delivery has begun; this does not affect your right to a refund where the content has not been delivered or a charge was made in error. (This wording should be reviewed by a legal adviser before launch.)

Correspondence

When you write to the editor through the contact page, you grant the imprint permission to keep your message for the purpose of replying and maintaining a reasonable record of correspondence. We will not publish your correspondence without your consent.

Use of the site

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to disrupt, reverse-engineer or misuse it. The imprint reserves the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the site after a change counts as acceptance of the updated terms.

Liability

The website and its content are provided "as is". The imprint does not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and accepts no liability for loss arising from its use beyond what is required by law.
